Your Time Is Limited. Don’t Waste It.

Visually, this video shows in jellybeans the average life span of a human in today’s day in age. 28,835 jellybeans represents 28,835 days which equals to 79 years of life (some people live more, some less).

We posted this video to put into perspective the limited amount of time you actually have. A lot of people (especially teenagers) tend to “waste” a lot of time or find themselves having “nothing to do” and look for ways to “kill time” as if time was limitless.

The reality of things though is this: Your time on this Earth is limited. And by limited, I mean very limited. Time really does fly and before you know it you will be out of high school going into college, working, having a family, watching your kids grow, traveling, and retiring all in the blink of an eye.

Now don’t get me wrong, this post isn’t meant to scare you. What it is meant for however, is to make you rethink how you spend your time to ensure you start spending it wisely.

Unlike everything else in the world, time is the only commodity you can’t buy back. So, if you aren’t taking full advantage of the limited time you have, then I highly suggest you start doing so.

Questions to Ask Yourself:

  • What are you going to do going forward with your time?
  • Are you going to make every day count? If so, how?
  • What time consuming things can you stop doing and how can you become more productive?
